ARC ARRIVAL Stirlingshire tech metal trio Arc Arrival made their entrance onto the scene with the release of their debut EP C.H.A.O.S in October ’20. The first 2 singles Count Havoc Among Our Sins and Re:Birth picked up national and global airplay across the likes of Total Rock + Amazing Radio. A collaboration single with Glasgow hip-hop duo Hessian Renegade saw the band break into mainstream radio with the release of Trigger The Silence (Hessian Renegade remix). With 2021 in full swing, the band went back into the studio to record a double a-side release: Engineered To Die and Resurrection. Both tracks received substantial airplay and the band were featured heavily in European webzines. Recently supported Black Tongue at a sold out show in Edinburgh.

Glasgow based Black Star Jackals burst on to the scene in 2019 with debut single Maybe winning great critical acclaim. The band then went on to win the Scottish final of the Soundwaves Music Competition. Since then the alt-rock 4 piece have quickly garnered new fans, radio airplay and positive reviews from industry professionals thanks to their infectious melodies and hard rock vibes. Their recent singles Always The SameParty People and Down This Road surpassed all expectations and have featured heavily across radio including the likes of BBC Introducing’s Rapal Show and Amazing RadioTom Russell made Party People his single of the week on his The Max radio show. Debut EP Hollow is released in October and the band will be playing Monsterfest this November at the Ironworks in Inverness alongside a plethora of rock bands including The Wildhearts.

Hailing from Glasgow, The Dead Night are a three-piece garage-pop band who have drawn comparisons with The Jesus & Mary Chain, with influences ranging from Jack White and The Killers to The Cure and The Waterboys. Their debut single Caramel received a fantastic response and was been picked up by a number of stations including BBC Radio Scotland’s Rapal Show and Amazing Radio as well as a plethora of local and international stations.

Indie rockers The Decadent Movement formed in Glasgow in 2020 and hit the ground running. Things have moved fast for this relatively new band, receiving great attention from radio and podcasts. Debut single Glasgow’s Burning laid down the band’s statement of intent. Their lyrics reflect the real life experiences of the band, bringing a rawness that is relatable to so many of their listeners, dealing with issues like addiction, mental health, and street life. The band are currently working on their debut EP which will be released later this year. They will be supporting Hipsway at the Barrowlands this November as part of Ceildfest.

DMS craft absolute tunes! Energetic, dynamic, make you want to dance tunes, and with headline slots at Liquid Rooms, Mash House and Cab Vol having all sold out for their previous launches in record time, this Edinburgh 5-piece band’s ambition and progress is not going unnoticed. In 2019 they released their debut EP Impostor Syndrome to critical acclaim, and followed that up with the ‘lockdown’ single Ordinary Strange. The song encapsulated the mood of the times and picked up some impressive airplay including the likes of Idobi RadioAmazing Radio and BBC Introducing’s Rapal Show. In 2021 the band released Games We Play which has been their most played track to-date across airwaves and streaming sites. The band recently supported Space at The Garage.

Elessar are a 3-piece Pop-Rock band hailing from Gloucestershire, UK. Combining emotive lyrics with heavy guitar tones and dancing drum beats that go hand in hand, ELESSAR have set out to prove to the world that they are carving a sound unique to their own path. Dropping the sad vibes of the past, the new sound brings in a party atmosphere that addresses realistic situations, encountered by frontman, Ricky, through recent years. ELESSAR have been touted as ones to watch, renowned by many for passionate and energetic live performances. Leading them to share the stage with acts such as; Boston Manor, Milk Teeth and Mallory Knox to name a few. ELESSAR’s latest singles City Talk and Give It Up can be found on all streaming platforms, with new music expected soon.

Harley & the Wolf are a four piece Alt Rock band from Northern Ireland. Combining strong riffs, delicate harmony and ear catching melody to bring you their take on modern Alternative Rock, drawing heavily from the music that influenced them growing up. With anthemic choruses backed by a solid groove, the band released their debut single For What It’s Worth in 2020. In early 2021 they followed this release with their self-titled single Harley & the Wolf. New single Lost Hope & Mixed Blessings is out now.

Beginning as a venture into 90’s era hip hop, Glasgow-based Hessian Renegade quickly evolved into a far more diverse crossover sound, combining these core elements with electronic synths, distorted guitars and a blend of live and digital drum sounds. Lyrically, the duo’s subjects range from everyday observations to black humour. Their debut single “Bread & Circuses” was instantly picked up by Glasgow based professional wrestling company ICW as the entrance theme for their former Zero G Champion ‘Andy Wild’. The debut EP ‘Oral Spiel’, was released on the 18th of January 2019. A 5-track record showcasing the duos musical range, which launched alongside a music video for their third single ‘Scratchings’.

Moody and epic are two words not often seen together, but when it comes to cinematic alt-rockers Layaway, these two words turn into a match made in heaven. With soaring vocals and crushing rhythms, combined with a polished, high energy live set, these Scottish rockers have been moving from strength to strength. Hailing from the West of Scotland the band have polished their sound with influences such as: Lower Than Atlantis, Angels & Airwaves, Thrice and Queens of the Stone Age to deliver a whole new experience to the Scottish alt-rock scene. The band have already stacked up some outrageous achievements such as headlining the legendary Barrowlands Ballroom for Glasgow’s Pride festival and playing a BBC Live Session on the BBC Gaelic show Rapal.

Hailing from the quaint market towns of Newbury and Hereford, A New Hope are in stark contrast to their tranquil origins. The lively six-piece came together with one true goal: to pen and perform catchy as hell pop-punk music that is upbeat, energetic and full of down-tuned riffs. The band soon chiselled out a sound of their own, while embracing their influences. ‘their latest releases received warm praise from many quarters and saw the band selected as a finalist on the Impericon Next Generation competition. With a new EP and several tours in the works, the stage is set for the band to break out to the masses.

OHNOVA are a Glasgow based alternative/desert rock power trio. Their energetic sound smashes you with big riffs and bigger melodies. In 2019 they released their debut EP I Can’t Sleep to rave reviews. This allowed the band to support both international and domestic touring bands, tour the UK, and gain consistent global radio play for singles Heavy Smile, Banjo Mac and Easy Way Out. In early 2020 released Nobody Move, which was recorded with Bruce Rintoul (Vukovi/Fatherson) it embraced a more mainstream sound, using electronics to augment their melodic, modern rock sound. On release, the song received considerable support, getting heavy airplay from the likes of Planet Rock and Hard Rock Hell Radio. Not only that but it was also named one of Classic Rock Magazine’s ‘Tracks of the Week’.

Hailing from Leicester UK, with influences from the likes of You Me At Six, Foo Fighters, and Paramore, Our City Fires worked with producer Matt O’Grady (Don Broco, You Me AT Six, Architects) on their debut eponymous EP, out now on all major platforms. 2018 saw the release of their first music video “Just Come Home”, wide ranging UK radio play, including BBC Introducing East Midlands, and the band embarking on their first UK tour. This year continues to see the band grow, with the release of their latest single “Need Us To Be” earning them wider still radio airplay across the UK and Australia.

Petty Cassettes are a true Scottish rock band. Their songs vary from energetic tunes to mellow ballads. Neck deep in their origins they are the soundtrack of choice for any party night. Influenced by different genres the result is an explosive mix of upbeat-indie-rock with many different shades. A song for every occasion especially for the ones that require a pint and a loud, dancing crowd. Recent single Sensitive Boy received encouraging feedback and radio play and forthcoming new single Rydo & Julianne is already being picked up pre-release by radio stations across the country. They too will be supporting Hipsway alongside The Decadent Movement at Ceilidhfest in November.

Piledriver are one of the Philippines premier hardcore bands with roots going back to 1998 in the Laguna underground scene. In 2006 after years of line-up changes and the heartache of their guitarist being murdered in a drive by shooting the band finally made their debut release Rosa City which was a tribute to the city they grew up in. The band are currently recording their follow up album on the back of signing with UK label Engineer Records. The band regularly tour across the country as well as collaborating on shows with bands across South East Asia.

Hitting your senses from Glasgow, Scotland, The Rhubarb, have been dispatching engulfing stoner riffs, and gargantuan grooves since their inception. During the past five years, the rising quartet have supported a slew of established artists panning from Black Moth, Lord Dying, Mantis Toboggan, Skandal, and Juniper Grave to Strauss.  With influences ranging from Black Sabbath, Sleep, High on Fire, Electric Wizard and Hawkwind, their enthralling combination of male and female driven vocals, blended with exhilarating fiery riffs, and distinctive psychedelic phrasing is a fresh and ultra-intriguing take on the doom stoner genre. The band released debut EP Black Sun in 2020 and both singles taken from it, Drag Me To Hell and Part Time Suicide, received airplay both nationally and global with the likes of Amazing Radio, Hard Rock Hell, The Max and Total Rock.

Salt River Shakedown have been tearing down the UK gigging circuit with their energetic brand of blues rock for the last few years. Having played alongside such bands as Anchor LaneCrobotThe Lazys and US blues rocker Jared James Nichols, they have developed a reputation for an explosive show. With the introduction last year of a new vocalist and a keys player, and the success of their most recent singles Sign Of The Times and Fight or Flight under their belt, they released new single Honey in 2021. The song has gone on to be the band’s biggest release to-date, giving them their first BBC Introducing play on the Rapal Show as well as airplay across the likes of Total RockThe Max and Amazing Radio. New single The Lowdown is out now and the band will be supporting The Dust Coda at King Tuts this December

Felix Saunders is a singer songwriter that hails from the Western Isles. He plays the kind of music that is usually heard in smoky back rooms as the sun comes up. Where people spill their most vulnerable secrets and try to wash them away with each drink they take. Felix’s debut solo single This Old Town gained national radio play including BBC Introducing’s Rapal Show and received over 80,000 streams on Spotify. In 2021 he released his debut EP I Guess This Is Progress which received fantastic reviews and raised his profile so much so that he featured in a Herald Scotland story about the music scene in his native Stornoway and recorded a session with BBC Radio Nan Gaid Heal. Both single releases from said EP, King Of Nothing and Sinking Fast, picked up airplay across the globe as well as rave reviews.

Formed in 2018, Stay For Tomorrow are an energetic four piece alternative rock band from Dunfermline. Inspired by the likes of Twin Atlantic, Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters, they burst onto the Fife scene in 2019 with their debut single Kings and Queens , swiftly followed by second single Rumours. Their 3rd single Criminal was a collaborative effort with Aveleen Rose. The band’s latest release I Don’t Need You To Save Me has been well received, picking up airplay and great reviews, both national and global. New single Non Applicable is out 1st October and the band will be supporting The Capollos at Edinburgh Sessions next month.

We don’t believe in convoluted management contracts at Reaction; We work with artists for as long or as short as they wish, and every band is free to move on without being tied to a service for a lengthy duration. Our aim is to help them on their journey and watch them grow. Even after artists leave our active roster we’re always available for feedback and we still keep an eye out for suitable openings that may suit each band we’ve worked with.
